These tires are used on 3rd generation formula Fords (1983 and newer) and on formula Continental (a "formula Ford" with the 2 liter SOHC Pinto engine, wings, slicks and ground effect car) (The reality of the car is, the extra power of the bigger engine merely overcomes the drag of the wings and ground effects, they are not appreciably faster than a 'conventional' formula Ford except for cornering speed where all the aero stuff comes into effect).
